Roadside Chapel?
This chapel will sit along side of Minnesota State Highway 46 about 3 miles north and west of Deer River. The area has vast wilderness that is teaming with wildlife. This chapel is for those who pass by on their way to fish, hunt, boat, snowmobile, camp or any number of other outdoor activities. There's no schedule of services - just stop in any time you go by!
St. Hubert?
St. Hubert is the patron saint of hunters. He lived in Belgium (c. 656-727) and had a vision of a cross inside the antlers of a stag he was hunting. It changed his life. He ended up becoming the bishop of Liege, Belgium.
